Cooking Camp

Monday 31st July – Friday 4th August 2017

2013 saw the first PAC Cooking Camp which was a big hit for all the budding chefs, staff & parents that week – for the third year running we couldn’t miss out on more cooking fun!

We’re delighted to welcome Mona Taylor back to PAC, an ex-Home Economics teacher from our every own Scottish Borders, who has years of cooking experience but also the enthusiasm and personality to inspire our PAC youngsters to cook up yet another feast this Summer at the Lamancha Hub.

Mona will be running another 5 day course teaching your children and young teenagers to cook a variety of soups, pastas, breads, sweet things, outdoor cookery and much more……we’ll be seeing them on the Great British Bake Off in no time!

The Cooking Camp will run in 2 blocks each day: the morning will be for the younger chefs aged 8 – 11 years (primary 4+) and the afternoon will be for the older chefs aged 12 – 16 year (primary 7+).  As this camp has limited spaces it has to be booked for the full 5 days – total of 20 hours tuition, so that the kids get the best out of the course.

Morning cookery course  (9am – 12.30pm) for 8 – 11 year olds

Afternoon cookery course (1.30pm – 5pm) for 12+ year olds

Cost of the cooking camp is only £140 which includes full tuition, all ingredients & snacks (as well as meals for the week!) Spaces are limited so make sure you get your booking in now…click here for booking information.

Please note, it may be helpful to know that children can join the PAC cooking camp, as part of a full day or indeed full week at PAC. Transport to/from PAC at Netherurd can be arranged at a cost of just £1 per day.
